Samsung S90H vs S95H — Is the Flagship Worth $900 More?
By Rick Baron · SWAT A/V · 28 years of installs · Updated 2026-05-29
★ Rick's bottom line
S90H for most buyers · S95H for direct-sun rooms or wall-mount installs
Samsung dropped the Glare-Free coating from S95-only to S90-standard in 2026. That used to be the main reason to step up to S95. Now the only S95 advantages are: ~1,000 more peak nits, Art Mode (new on OLED), FloatLayer chassis, One Connect Box. For non-bright rooms with cabinet-friendly installs, the S90H is 95% of the S95H for $900 less.

Samsung S95H QD-OLED 65"
Buy the Samsung S95H if you have a direct-sun room (real brightness gap matters), you're wall-mounting in a cabinet-free room (One Connect = one thin cable to the TV), or you'll genuinely use Art Mode.
