These branded retail stores share the carrier's name but cannot accept equipment returns for this service. Confirm before driving:
- Verizon Fios stores in the legacy Fios footprint (they handle Fios — confirm by phone whether they also handle 5G Home gateway returns; varies by location)
Common mistake: This is the OPPOSITE of the Fios mistake — Verizon Wireless stores DO handle the 5G Home gateway because it runs on Verizon's wireless network. Don't avoid the Wireless store for 5G Home; that's actually the right place.
