Getting to the stadium

Smallest venue at the tournament — temporary capacity expansion from regular 30,000. Stadium is at Exhibition Place, accessible via TTC streetcar (509 Harbourfront) or Exhibition GO station. 10 min from downtown.

Where to stay

Downtown Toronto (Entertainment District, King West) for walkability, Distillery District for charm, Liberty Village for stadium proximity.

Fan Festival & watch parties

Nathan Phillips Square (City Hall) hosts the main viewing parties. Most are free public viewing — the cheap alternative to a $2,000+ ticket. Match-day capacity at the FIFA Fan Festival in each host city is in the tens of thousands.

Where to eat

St. Lawrence Market, Pai Northern Thai, Schwartz's smoked meat (if you cross into Montreal — joking), Bar Raval, Banh Mi Boys.
