Sinner and Nosková win Wimbledon 2026
A second Wimbledon for Jannik Sinner and a breakout title for Linda Nosková — and you didn't need cable to watch a point of it.
Plain English
Men: Jannik Sinner beat Alexander Zverev 6-7(7-9), 7-6(7-2), 6-3, 6-4 — his second Wimbledon and fifth major. Women: Linda Nosková beat Karolína Muchová 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 in an all-Czech final — at 21, the youngest Wimbledon champion since Petra Kvitová in 2011. In the U.S., Wimbledon lived on ESPN / ESPN+ — no cable box required.
The finals in brief
Sinner dropped the opening set in a tight breaker, then took over — winning the next three to close out Zverev and defend his place at the top of the men's game. On the women's side, Nosková and Muchová made it the first all-Czech Wimbledon women's final, with Nosková's power off both wings carrying her through a three-set battle.
How to watch tennis in the U.S. without cable
All four tennis majors run through ESPN in the States (Wimbledon, the US Open, Australian Open; the French Open splits with NBC/Peacock). You don't need a cable box to get ESPN:
- ESPN Unlimited ($29.99/mo) — every ESPN channel, streamed.
- Sling or Fubo — cheaper live-TV bundles that carry ESPN.
- The US Open is next (Aug 30–Sep 13) — same ESPN path.
