Samsung TV Mount Install Guide
Samsung uses a proprietary "Slim Fit" mount on QLED + Frame TVs. Verify your model — the Slim Fit mount is the only thing that gets the picture flush. What you need to know first
- Samsung VESA patterns vary by model year — always look up the specific model before ordering a mount.
- For most Samsung TVs 55"+, a tilting mount + 1/2"×3" lag bolts to two studs is the standard install.
- A 50-foot passive HDMI cable is the maximum reliable length. Beyond that, use a fiber-optic HDMI (Monoprice SlimRun AV is $40 for 50 ft).
- Plan for an HDMI 2.1 port if you have a PS5 or Xbox Series X — only some ports on the TV support 4K/120Hz.
